A change of heart

Why have I not been posting the same content?
Throughout my entire photographic journey I have always focused on equine photography, which made sense considering I have loved horses since I could remember and had horses of my own so I would spend my days at the stables photographing friends riding and began my business when I felt that I became experienced enough to charge for my work; throughout 2020/2021 I also started getting into canine photography and began to combine the two within my work which I absolutely loved, I met so many awesome people, pups and horses.
Since my injury, my life has changed a lot, I have had to take a step back from horses which has let me explore other things in life and gave me time to realise what I wanted to do with myself and my business. I realised that actually, equine photography is not going to be my career. A hobby, yes, but not my long-term career.
A couple of months ago I attended a festival and happened to bump into one of the official photographers, after speaking to him I realised that this is what I wanted to do, combine the two things I love. I wanted to be able to capture the absolutely insane, raw moments people experience during these events, the sense of community and the love of music which everyone shares, as well as being able to capture the incredible performances.
I will still be doing equine/canine photoshoots however they will no longer be my main subject as I am now trying to put myself into a completely different and quite frankly very difficult industry. I hope to still see some familiar faces and I look forward to sharing my journey with you guys and hope you enjoy it too ❤
Here’s to new beginnings 🥂
